Every time I update my professional bio, I take a quick trip down memory lane. I’ve played different roles in different professions at several organizations in different industries. Sometimes it’s beneficial to look back and reflect. There’s always so much to be grateful for — and even more to learn from.

Although I began my career twenty-five years ago in accounting (tax and auditing in Big 5 at the time), I’ve spent much of the last decade focused on building relationships, leading teams, and strategically growing businesses. I’m fascinated by the psychology of marketing and enjoy tackling complex business problems that lead to operational improvement and positive net dollar impact.

If an opportunity to increase efficacy or efficiency exists, I want to find the path of least resistance to it. I am a critical thinker who is constantly searching for perspective — there’s always a better way.

A perpetual learner, who is honing the ability to communicate and understand, I’m challenged to become a better version of myself every day. It’s not simply a career for me. Every seat I sit in and role I play is an opportunity to leave a lasting impression and impact on those around me. As much as I enjoy developing creative solutions and helping businesses win, I find greater satisfaction still in empowering individuals to change the course of their lives — and by extension, the lives of others — for the better.
